About Us
Brace for L.I.F.E. Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with a vision of reducing the incidence of lymphedema in breast cancer survivors through awareness, education and action programs.
Our Mission
To raise awareness and minimize the impact of lymphedema on the lives of breast cancer survivors. We provide information, resources and training seminars designed to educate breast cancer survivors, caregivers, medical personnel, and first responders to recognize the symptoms of lymphedema and take the necessary precautions to prevent it.
Our Goal
To provide breast cancer survivors world-wide with an identification bracelet to wear on the affected side, warning first responders and medical personnel of their risk for lymphedema.
Our Hope
To empower the breast cancer survivor to Live Independently and Function Efficiently, or Brace for L.I.F.E.
Our Vision
That distribution of our lymphedema bracelets to breast cancer survivors becomes standard protocol on emergency response vehicles and in medical and lymphedema treatment centers — and a universal symbol for lymphedema precautionary care — around the world.
